September 11, 2001. A day we will never forget. Following the event, Wounded Warrior was founded. Wounded Warrior is a Charity and Veteran service that helps to heal. From healing their mind to healing their body. Those with PTSD or any other brain injury have medical professionals at their service, as well as those with burns or amputations. Their Mental wellness programs can help with Combat stress relief by teaching them about their situation as well as taking them on their outdoor rehabilitation retreat. Their physical wellness programs teach them what is good for their bodies to make healthy decisions, as well as give hands on help to get these men and women back to their original strength. WWP has an Independence program to help get their independence back. WWP also provides assistance in getting back to work. They help with resumes and goal setting to help you in achieving your goals. Donating helps people Like Nick Bennet with PTSD, help people like Bobby Woods with brain injury, helps people like Anthony Villareal get his confidence back after being burned and having to be amputated, helps people like Jessica Coulter, a mother of two sons who was dealing with stress and anxiety with no job; buy food for her and her sons.
